I am a 38-year-old, stay-at-home mom with two beautiful children. I have previously taught high school Spanish, English, & Journalism for 15 years.  I have a B.A. in Spanish and English, M.A. plus 30 in Guidance and Counseling.

I am the second child of a middle-class family in the bible belt of America.  I have never fit in this area.  My older brother and I have never really fit into the cookie-cutter mold.  My family and I are looking to relocate soon.

I am an aficionado of good music, movies, and television.  I have attended over 100 concerts from Lady Gaga to Kings of Leon.

I have opinions on most everything, ranging from politics to parenting. 

I love to write and in the pursuit of making that my full-time job. 

I make no excuses for myself or my opinions.  I have lived my life very fully and will continue to do so.
